Clinics within the West region qualified candidate will need to be comfortable commuting to and working at based on business needs: Seminole, Tyrone, 4th Strt (St. Petersburg), South Tampa, and Downtown at Water Street. The position will remain open until position is successfully filled. Job Summary: The Building Technician is responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of a safe, clean and comfortable environment for staff and patients at all of TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track's clinics. This role may have light courier duties and is responsible for the general repairs and maintenance on all of all clinic structures and non-technical equipment. The role requires flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week, days, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Travel required throughout to all clinic locations. Requirements Job Responsibilities: Perform preventative and repair maintenance to keep all buildings in good operating condition. Repair and/or replace electrical devices to include light switches, ballasts, fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, fuses, etc. Repair, paint, pressure wash and/or replacement of all building needs to include doors, door hardware, windows, floor tile, ceiling tile, drywall, building exterior, etc. Install flooring and other building equipment and finishes. Perform plumbing work such as clearing clogged lines installation and/or repair of new plumbing fixtures, repairs water leaks, etc. Inspect and maintain all HVAC systems to include fans, exhausts, duct work, etc. Obtains price quotes and prepares Purchase Requests for equipment or supplies that need to be ordered. Routinely inspect building roofs, flashings, masonry, building interiors & exteriors, walkways, stairways, exam rooms and common areas. Repair and monitor safety equipment. Perform general housekeeping duties. Perform all other maintenance duties as assigned by Facilities Manager and leadership team. Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of and ability to inspect/repair/replace/install electrical devices. Knowledge of and ability to inspect/repair/replace/install plumbing work. Knowledge of and ability to inspect/maintain/repair/replace/install HVAC systems. Knowledge of and ability to inspect/repair/replace roofs. Knowledge of and ability to inspect/monitor safety equipment. General knowledge of and ability to do building maintenance and housekeeping. Minimum of 3 years of maintenance technician experience, required Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibility. Education: High school Diploma or GED required Verifiable experience in building trades required Vocational/ technical training or diploma preferred Work Conditions: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm. Travel required throughout all clinic and worksite locations. Must be flexible to work up to 40 hours per week, days, evenings, weekends and some holidays. On call as needed. Requirements: Valid FL Driver's License required Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs required As part of the hiring process: a background and drug screen will need to be successfully completed.
