Responsibilities The Brook Hospital Dupont, located at 1405 Browns Lane, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights. This opportunity is a 7p-7a and rotating weekends and is a full-time position with benefits. This position qualifies for a $15,000 sign-on bonus! 30% shift differential for the entire shift! The Brook - Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults. The RN participates in treatment planning as a member of interdisciplinary team; provides assessment of patients' psychiatric and medical status; a dministers medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician; assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations; provide and direct milieu management, and additional tasks as needed. Best candidates for this position will have behavioral health experience, a strong work-ethic, and highly consistent timeliness and attendance! Job Duties Initiate and document special treatment procedures. Document nursing care, treatment and patient's response to treatment. Provide health education to patients. Attend mandatory training and in-services. Participate in the implementation of Nursing Department policies and procedures. Qualifications Must be a licensed RN to practice in Kentucky and be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Must have Nursing experience providing direct patient care and maintain current CPR. Preferred: BSN and o ne year inpatient behavioral health work experience or one year medical/surgical nursing experience.
