WHAT YOU'LL DO Primary Function Summary Implement solutions to various assembly and transformational product processes Research and prove out innovative ways to improve processes making them more efficient and flexible Integrate and program assembly processes and equipment Developing user interfaces for operators and integrating them into our MES system Development of engineered solutions to repetitive equipment failures and other maintenance problems: implementing ways of reducing the need for maintenance repairs and ultimately eliminating the occurrence of failures. Repetitive failures are identified, and the Preventive/Predictive Maintenance is refined by dynamic and relevant: Review of predictive and other inspections Analysis of equipment histories, maintenance cost reports, and failure reports Review of service and inspection records Analysis of work order data Perform departmental and project related duties within system guidelines as defined by procedures and other company documentation. Complete service calls and work orders as defined by system documentation. Complete machine programming, and integration of machine logic, and operator interface. Work with TPM on obsolete controls systems as required. Other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Launch Reliability Manager, or Maintenance Supervisor Adapt and promote lean manufacturing principals Active participant in the Elimination of Waste Team meetings Support the Company's Goals and Objectives WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Ability to guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, and safety systems. Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics/prints and how these systems interact within an assembly process Ability to adapt and learn new controls technology and software Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision Understanding and communicating technical details Knowledge of multi axis servo systems and robotic systems Industrial vision systems/sensors (Cognex, Keyence) Basic networking knowledge and application Fieldbus Technologies (ex: Ethernet/IP, Ether CAT, I/O Link, Modbus) Interfacing and communication with devices: analog, fieldbus, etc. Software Experience: AutoCAD (electrical/pneumatic detailing) Rockwell Suite (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, RSLogix) Siemens Backhoff Exceptional computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and specialized controls software Excellent problem solving abilities with ability to apply the principals of root cause analysis Possess working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteria Education High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Associates Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2 year Technical Degree in Robotic Automation/Computer Sciences Experience Minimum 5 years previous experience in plant maintenance with a strong background in controls and related software WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Employee Stock Ownership Plan Incentive Bonus Medical, Vison, Dental Prescription Drug Plan 401k Paid Vacation & Holidays Short-Term Disability Tuition Reimbursement Health & Wellness Reimbursement Employee Recognition Discount Programs WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW Excellent communication skills for interaction with the workforce, its suppliers and customers Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently Work may require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping and doing repetitive motion tasks Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to noise Must be able to work necessary overtime if required
