Job Description: Senior MEP Engineer Job Title: Senior MEP Engineer Location: Burlington, VT Introduction: We are seeking a Senior MEP Engineer to lead the design and development of energy-efficient building systems that balance sustainability with practicality. In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of engineers to create innovative designs that push the boundaries of MEP engineering. What You Will Be Doing: Lead the design and development of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Implement sustainable practices while ensuring practical functionality and optimizing energy consumption. Manage MEP projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems seamlessly. Oversee and conduct calculations for MEP systems, utilizing advanced modeling tools like Revit. Communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals, performing site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with project requirements. Address any design modifications promptly to maintain project quality and efficiency. What You Need for This Position: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license, with a PE stamp for VT and the ability to obtain NY and NH stamps. Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing MEP systems for commercial buildings. Proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling is strongly desired but not required. A creative mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to each project's unique needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and clients.
