Customer AdministratorWe are a family run full-service packing, crating and transportation company located in the Chicago suburbs in search of a Customer Administrator to join our team.Duties and Responsibilities:Data entry - primarily entering information for customer's loadsProcessing driver paperwork such as driver's logs and fuel chargesTracking and tracing loads via email, phone or customer's websitesAssisting with accounts payableAdditional clerical tasks as assignedThis position at times will require you to wear many hats so someone who is flexible and adaptableEducation andor Experience:MUST HAVE a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting, ideally in the transportation industry - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ANOFFICE SETTINGMUST HAVE basic computer and typing skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Possess a strong customer service mentalityFlexibility in dealing with tight deadlines and service sensitive issues on a daily basisMust possess strong written and oral communication skillsWork well with others in a team environmentTeachable and eager to learnAssociates or Bachelor's degree a plus, but not requiredExperience with Profit Tools and Great Plains highly desirableJob Type: Full-timePay: $40k+ Based on ExperiencePosition includes Vacation, Paid Holidays, Medical & Dental Insurance, and 401KWork Location: In person
