Lead RWE and Epidemiology Scientist - 100% Remote

SciPro is recruiting for a HealthTech Computational Platform company backed by a leading VC company looking to expand their Epidemiology & RWD team.The company is VC backed and has received over 400mm in funding (over 3 rounds) and has made 2 successful acquisitions. They are recognized for trying to treat drug discovery and development like a loop where each project they have can generate data that informs projects to follow. They are doing this through ML algorithms and patient data, creating the first closed loop platform that will give insights into every step of the discovery and development process. Their platform is positioned to advance therapeutic candidates in half of the time for half the cost and have higher rates of success across the board.As a Lead Scientist, you will oversee research projects from planning through execution, focusing on real-world data (e.g., EHRs) for drug discovery. This role requires translating research questions into study designs, leading cross-functional teams, and working with diverse data sets. Proficiency in PythonR for statistical analysis and experience in epidemiology or biostatistics is required, with leadership in project management and client collaboration being essential.Qualifications:MPHMS with 5+ years or PhD with 3+ years of experienceExpertise in real-world data studies and statistical modelingStrong communication and technical management skillsExperience leading epidemiologic projects from end-to-endExperience in a external stakeholder facing role - client facingPlease apply with an updated CV to learn more!
