Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Improvement Engineer to enhance our operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of chemical engineering and plant operations to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Key Responsibilities:• Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety. • Develop and implement process optimization strategies, utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute improvement projects that align with company goals. • Conduct process simulations and modeling using ChemCAD and Python to evaluate potential enhancements and validate changes. • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of implemented improvements. • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. • Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on new processes and improvements. • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in chemical engineering and manufacturing technologies. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all projects. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. • Thorough knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and chemical processes preferred.• Proficiency in process simulation software, particularly ChemCAD. • Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and process modeling. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
