Our client is a rapidly growing residential luxury homebuilder, currently generating around $12-15 million in annual revenue. They are committed to delivering high-end, custom homes while maintaining an unwavering dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction!They are experiencing considerable growth and have plans for expansion, and are seeking a dynamic and experienced COOCFO to join our leadership team, drive operational excellence, and ensure financial sustainability as they scale! This person will be cultivated to eventually become president of the company!Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's growth objectives and enhance efficiency across all departments.Oversee all construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective, quality services.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity while maintaining the highest levels of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction supervisors, and administrative staff, to ensure alignment with the company's goals.Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.Provide strategic financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting to ensure the company remains financially sound and positioned for growth.Monitor construction costs, overhead, and profitability, implementing cost controls and value engineering initiatives to optimize margins.Oversee risk management strategies, including insurance coverage, legal matters, and compliance with tax and accounting regulations.Present timely, accurate financial statements and analysis to the executive team and board, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.Implement and manage ERP or other financial software to improve efficiency and transparency in financial reporting and project management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations andor financial leadership role, ideally within the construction, real estate, or luxury homebuilding industry.Proven experience in managing the operational complexities of a growing company, including scaling teams and systems.Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and risk management.Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Knowledge of construction project management software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
