Read on to learn more about specific opportunities to join our dedicated team. CDL A Driver w/ Hazmat Endorsement To safely transport equipment and stock supplies for daily job site requirements. Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Will maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance for vehicle and self. The daily activities include; Driving, laboring, and paperwork. To safely and timely transport materials such as fuel and water trailers and blasting mats to and from site locations. Assure that all loads and materials are properly secured for transportation in accordance with DOT regulations. Assure that all over width and over weight permitting is acquired as needed Assure that DOT safety rules and regulations are met to include maintaining accurate driver's E log book and vehicle inspection reports. Assure that all state and local traffic laws and regulations are followed. Keeping vehicle clean and maintained in accordance with Company Vehicle Policy and recommended maintenance schedules. Effectively communicate work status to Mobilization Supervisor and coordinate to maximize tractor trailer time utilization. Represent the Company in a positive and professional manner. Prioritize multiple assignments. Promptly report all vehicle incidents/accidents and traffic violations as well as personal driving. Submit to Federal DOT required drug and alcohol testing All other duties as assigned Qualifications Class A commercial driver's license with hazardous materials endorsement, DOT medical certification, and a clean motor vehicle driving record. Previous class A commercial driving experience Solid understanding of Federal DOT/State regulations as it relates to trucking and interstate commerce. Construction or hazmat industry background a plus. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass background check for ATF "possessor" requirements. Flexibility to start the day at any time based on a predetermined job schedule. Self-starter, ability to work independently, under pressure to meet deadlines, and offer adaptability with changing priorities. Ability to perform essential functions of the position. Ability to routinely lift and move 50 lbs, frequent bending also required. Must be able to work in weather conditions ranging from -10 to 105, rain, sun or snow. Work on uneven and loose surfaces. Limited out of town/state travel and overtime as necessary. Attend operations meetings and training as needed.
