About the job Electrical Engineer Responsible for conceptual design, component specification, system hardware design, programming, and providing engineering support. Approximately 30%-50% of domestic travel may be required, with international travel as a possibility. Responsibilities: Please keep in mind the following job requirements: Apply electrical and electronic theory to design, program, and troubleshoot packaging machinery. Read and troubleshoot ladder logic within motion controls, including programming servo drives (AB).7 Possess design problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment. Support Field Service Technicians with program-related troubleshooting, which may involve traveling to customer locations or providing remote support. Create wiring schematics, program diagrams, and complete bill of materials Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in capital equipment design and service. 5-10 years of related electrical design experience. Proficient in using CAD software for electrical design documentation utilizing SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, or similar systems. Demonstrated experience in the design of Stepper Motor, Servo, and touch screen-controlled capital equipment systems or machinery-specific experience in the Packaging industry a plus. Programming of Allen-Bradley PLCs or CODESYS PLC systems (Bosch Rexroth preferred, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.) Good organization, communication, analytical, and project management skills. Good verbal and written skills utilizing office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid driver's license and ability to travel, up to 30%-50%, including internationally
