Level 1 Technician - Configurations Center

LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing technology services company in Vernon Hills, IL, in their search for a Level 1 Technician - Configurations Center. The Level 1 Technician - Configurations Center is responsible for installing and configuring hardware and software on a high volume of computers, printers and other products for customers on a daily basis. Level 1 Technician - Configurations Center Responsibilities:Configure customers' systems to their required specificationsTest systems to ensure 100% qualityMaintain minimum monthly productivity goalsTroubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware, software and peripheral equipmentEnsure that customers receive the highest level of customer serviceCommunicate issues concerning customer orders to the area Help Desk or Team LeaderAdhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all timesPerform any additional duties assigned by managementIt may be necessary on occasion for this individual to work beyond their regularly scheduled shiftOvertime is to be expected and in some cases may be required Level 1 Technician - Configurations Center Requirements:Demonstrate ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of force frequently (34-67% of the workday) and 26 to 50 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday). The team lift system must be utilized for loads weighing more than 50 poundsDemonstrate ability to push and pull up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday)Demonstrate ability to perform eight or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping and carrying products in combination at any given timeAbility to work in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forkliftsAbility to understand, remember and apply oral andor written instructions or other informationAbility to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminologyAbility to multi-task, organize and prioritizeAbility to apply common sense in performing jobAbility to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelinesAbility to travel as neededHigh School diploma or GEDA+ Certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
