SlateSafety is seeking an account manager to join our fast growing team. As a small and nimble startup, we need someone curious enough to ask questions and motivated enough to solve them. The account manager will work closely with existing customers while also closing new high powered deals. They will work closely with senior management to develop strategic goals and will touch many facets of the business. With a primary focus on heavy industrial verticals (ex. nuclear, oil and gas, energy etc... ), the successful candidate has experience with industry vernacular and knows what it takes to identify key decision makers to tell the SlateSafety story.If you want to shape the future of Connected Safety, protect workers around the globe, and are excited to join a fast-growing start-up, this is the role for you.Duties and responsibilitiesPerform account management activities for premium customersMaintain, service and grow existing portfolio accountsTravel to customer sites within US as needed to support business objectivesDevelop and undertake tactical market initiativesDevelop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clientsProvide input in strategic planning and launching of new products or servicesMaintain comprehensive opportunity profiles and accurately forecast revenueProspect, qualify and close new opportunities in heavy industrial verticals, including Nuclear, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Oil & GasQualifications2+ years of business development, technical sales or consulting for IoT, Enterprise software or SaaS solutionsKnowledge of operations in the industrial IoT sectorDemonstrated relationship management and consultative selling aptitudeAbility to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levelExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and G SuiteEntrepreneurial spirit Preferred QualificationsSafety qualifications: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIT), Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Knowledge of OSHA, ACGIHIT certifications such as MCSE, VCP or CCNACCNP a plusPossess curiosity and a thirst for knowledgePossess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExhibit a customer centric focusAny unique skillsAbout SlateSafetySlateSafety is a technology start-up based in Atlanta, GA at the edge of the Connected Safety revolution.
