Direct Report Range and Target Activities Program Manager Employee Profile and Desired Traits • High level emotional intelligence • Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs • Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition • Dedicated customer service and people oriented • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills • Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customers Duties & Responsibilities • Provide oversite, guidance, and management shooting venues to their highest and best use • Assists Program Manager with assigned duties and assumes their role as needed • Execute and/or facilitate training for all Shooting Sports disciplines • Ensures team maintains all equipment • Ensures firearms, ammunition, equipment, and personnel are evenly distributed • Facilitate logistic resupply responsibilities for all range and camping operations • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat and safe work area • Provide leadership to the shooting sports team, managing all administrative tasks • Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership • Abide by policies and procedures outlines in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training • Required: 21 years of age or older • Required: 3+ years experience in management role related to firearms training • Required: NRA Certified Instructor (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun/RSO) (training provided) • Required: BSA Camp School Certification (training provided) or Mil/LE/4H equivalent • Preferred: NRA Training Councilor certification • Preferred: 2+ years Summit Employment Experience • Ability to use Microsoft teams daily for work related communication and coordination • Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results • Develops and maintains team cohesion during the summer season • Mentors team members in professional development and technical aptitude • Gives constructive feedback for all team members Physical Requirements • Long periods of time either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50-70 lbs. • Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform Summit staff uniform Housing 10x12' Platform Tent Foxtrot Base Camp Expected Weekly Hours 45 - 60
