About Us We are on the forefront of deploying unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) swarms for defense applications and are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the electronic systems and components that power our unmanned ground vehicles. The ideal candidate will specialize in circuit design, PCB layout, power management, and electronic system integration, ensuring that our robotic platforms are equipped with reliable and efficient electronic systems. Prior experience with sensor integration on production-quality robots is highly desirable. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, contributing to the development of advanced robotics systems from the ground up. Required qualifications Circuit Design: Experience in designing analog and digital circuits for robotic systems, including schematic capture, component selection, and simulation. PCB Layout: Proficiency in PCB layout and design using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle), with an emphasis on minimizing noise, optimizing signal integrity, and ensuring reliable performance. Power Management: Expertise in designing power distribution systems, including battery management, voltage regulation, and power conditioning for complex robotic systems. Embedded Systems: Experience with integrating microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators into robotic platforms, ensuring seamless communication and control. System Integration: Proficiency in integrating electronic components into broader mechanical and software systems, ensuring cohesive operation of the overall robotic platform. Testing and Validation: Experience in developing and executing testing protocols to validate electronic system performance, including environmental and stress testing. Fault Management: Expertise in designing systems for fault detection, isolation, and recovery in electronic systems, enhancing overall system reliability. Comfortable working in the high-paced, fluid environment of a tech startup. Excited to contribute to the defense of the United States and its allies. Able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance. Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ area. Preferred qualifications Experience with unmanned ground vehicles or robotic swarms. Experience with high-reliability electronics for military or industrial applications. Strong background in embedded programming (e.g., C/C++) and hardware-software interfacing. Familiarity with simulation tools for electronics design and analysis (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB). Proven track record of developing electronics systems for real-world robotics applications. Compensation: $120-170k base + equity
