DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Chefs in maintaining food quality and brand presentation standards. Ensures that stations are properly set up and broken down during each shift. Ability to run and lead kitchen person through training and kitchen knowledge. Team player that leads by example. Assist with maintaining high kitchen sanitation; guidelines are set by the Executive Chef and local health department. Monitors and has hands on control of daily food presentation.. Demonstrates an understanding of company rules and procedures and communicates with the HR team when necessary. Stock all items for expediter line Possess full menu knowledge and ability to verbal it to the guests Possess knowledge of floor plan and daily stations Possess knowledge of table numbers and seat numbers Follow proper service procedures when delivering food Offer condiments (pepper, cheese etc.) when appropriate Communicate with server to ensure efficient service Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the floor manager or immediate supervisor Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time Be able to lift more than 20 lbs Be able to carry large tray and hold warm plates Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time Be able to lift & carry trays Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up restaurant, cleaning restaurant, running food.
