POSITION TYPE: Allied Health SPECIALTY UNIT: Registered Sonographer-Mobile LOCATION: Dayton, Ohio SHIFT: Days 9:00am-5:30pm JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Job Summary: Provide mobile ultrasound service using portable sonographic equipment Majority of work activity performed in various nursing homes, home cares facilities, prisons and processing sites Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Must be vascular (ARDMS:RVT, CCI:RVS, or ARRT:R.T.(VS)) registered at a minimum, dual modalities a plus Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals. Alternatively, those seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation supporting their request. Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program. One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required.
