job summary: We build technology that provides clean energy, clean water, payment processing and more, to remote communities both domestic and abroad. We're looking for talented, technical, and driven teammates to build our growing team! Responsibilities and Tasks Design, implement, verify, validate, debug and support solar power electronics systems, automation and controls systems, embedded hardware and software systems.Electrical drafting and maintenance of electrical schematics for system ponent selection and implementation of power related components and assemblies.Printed circuit board design, manufacturing, bring-up, test and a part of the growing systems engineering team developing software and electronics for electrical and thermal power systems.Be guided by expert-level electrical and software engineers working on state-of-the-art industrial power and communications technology.Work on a wide variety of client projects at various stages of the product development lifecycle.Our fast-paced environment demands the ability to manage multiple projects within various disciplines and deadlines. High-energy, self-starters with flexibility to multi-task and perform a wide range of activities will be successful. Experience You should be able to consistently perform and improve your role and educate others around you. You will encounter unknowns and will personally solve complex electrical engineering and power systems problems. Required skills: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree.Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.Reading and creating electrical drawings.AutoCAD Electrical Drafting or equivalent (Desired).Altium Designer Schematic/PCB. (Desired)SolidWorks Electrical (Desired).UL/NEC 508A experience desired.Automation controls experience desired.Single/Multiphase High power and high voltage systems design (Desired).Select subsystem hardware components to meet diverse of power systems and industrial controls systems.Building electrical hardware systems for prototyping with design version control technology such as Git and PDM systems.Some experience with small businesses or startups is a plus.
