We are seeking to hire a logistics sales professional for our direct client with expertise in direct sales activities to attract new customers in domestic and international freight forwarding. Responsibilities: Maintain Customer Relationships and serving as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively. Provide excellent customer support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems to maintain customer satisfaction. Identify Business Opportunities actively seeking new business opportunities within existing key accounts, and exploring avenues for upselling or cross-selling. Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize customer retention and growth. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business strategies with the goals of key accounts. Negotiation and Contract Renewals pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors. Communication and Reporting keeping clients informed about relevant updates, new offerings, and industry insights. Meet Sales Targets setting and achieving sales targets for both revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher required in a business-related field. 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, warehouse operations with supply chain knowledge and/or relevant logistics sales experience required. Possess a thorough understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry (trucking, rail, air and ocean modes). Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff). Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook. Bilingual in Japanese preferred. Experience working with Japanese companies preferred.
