Position Overview: As a Hotel Shuttle Driver, your primary responsibility is to transport guests to and from the hotel using a designated shuttle or van. You will ensure the safety, comfort, and timely transportation of guests while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities: Guest Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport hotel guests to and from designated locations such as the airport. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of the shuttle or van to ensure it is clean, in good working condition, and meets safety standards. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic regulations, including speed limits and parking rules, to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other vehicles on the road. Maintain a clean driving record and follow established company policies and procedures. Customer Service: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assist with luggage, and provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions. Offer a high level of customer service to enhance the guest experience. Communication: Communicate effectively with guests and hotel staff, providing updates on arrival and departure times, assisting with guest inquiries, and handling any concerns or issues that may arise during transportation. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks as required by the hotel and regulatory agencies. Time Management: Follow a schedule or respond promptly to guest requests to ensure on-time departures and arrivals. Coordinate with the hotel's front desk or concierge to accommodate guest transportation needs efficiently. Emergency Preparedness: Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures, including vehicle evacuation, first aid, and crisis management. Stay calm and composed in emergency situations and provide necessary assistance to guests if required. Qualifications and Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a professional driver or shuttle driver is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with local traffic regulations and routes. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Physical fitness to load and unload luggage. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent.
