You excel in a fast-paced environment with countless opportunities to work with emerging technologies, cybersecurity solutions and growth potential Duties/Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance in-person, via telephone, chat, email, Zendesk and self-service incidents/requests Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop & laptop PCs, portable monitors, printers, laptop docking stations, iPhones, and Android mobile phones Install and connect computers and other peripherals to the network, wipe and rebuild machines, install software (Operating System, MS Office Suite, software management stack, anti-virus software, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications needed by users) Coordinate service and supply orders with service providers for all print/copy/scan devices Assist with End-User device equipment purchases Perform new employee onboarding including IT training on company computers, policies, and procedures (such as security, password, and use policies) Assist system administrator in the maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and servers Assist with Active Directory, Group and Permissions management, AD profile and Office 365 and troubleshooting Assist with Cybersecurity tasks (Incident Response, Phishing Campaigns, alert triage and response). Maintain best practice documentation and the corporation's IT inventory, and recycle expired inventory at DoD 5200.28- STD standard Maintain and perform hardware refreshments according to CERP (Capital Equipment Replacement Plan) Required Education, Certification, Skills, Capabilities: 1-4 years' experience providing user support in a corporate environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Microsoft certification with experience managing and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Work independently and have experience with knowledge base articles Must be reliable, with dependable transportation Able to lift up to 40lbs Desired Education, Certification, Skills, Capabilities: A.A. or B.S. Degree in Information Technology or related field (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of an AA or BS degree) CompTIA Security Primary Work Location: Work is to be performed in the Northern Virginia area (primarily in Arlington, occasionally Chantilly) Special Work Conditions: Occasional travel may be required; less than 25%. Possible travel to other CONUS locations. Occasional work outside of corporate core business hours. Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen Active Secret clearance is desired but not required.
