We are a growing Tier 1 supplier to the automotive, military and power generation markets. We are the "go to" supplier for Ford Motor Company and our exceptional engineering team provides solutions on the most challenging programs. These programs are typically complex, require unique solutions and launch quickly. What do we need? Due to our growth, our team needs a driven, efficient Program-Account Manager to help us reach new heights, are you up for the challenge? What will you do? This is a unique role as it is a combination of program management and account management. You are responsible for leading and managing our business with Ford. As the Account Manager, you will grow our business, quote new work and negotiate the award. As the Program Manager, you will lead the launch of the new work awarded, on time and on budget while meeting quality expectations. Ensure program/account alignment with AE ownership plans, policies, priorities and procedures. Work with the internal team to guide, develop and complete quotes in concert with Anderson Express capabilities and customer expectations. Work in and fully utilize customer systems such as Covisint to meet customer expectations for quotes, fully accounted cost breakdowns, purchase orders, APQP, tool cost tracking, tool cost audits, capacity planning, etc. Proactively communicate with customers and internally to understand and deliver on sourcing criteria to win new programs. Develop and maintain program and manufacturing budgets/profitability and protect margin. Understand and utilize all customer processes and portals to collect payments for tooling. Utilize and document the Advanced Product Quality Planning process to launch new programs by leading a cross-functional team to successfully deliver a robust manufacturing process/workflow that meets or exceeds all internal and external safety, quality, timing and cost milestones and goals. Provide input to improve our Advanced Product Quality Planning process. Lead and document Program Management reviews capturing as well as driving closure to all concerns on the Open Issues List. Regularly update the Microsoft Project timeline. Manage engineering changes or manufacturing issues with existing programs. Provide proactive and regular program/account updates to all stakeholders - employees, customers and suppliers as required. Oversee compliance to customer design standards. Ensure that all customer data and specifications are controlled. Lead the team to select suppliers, understand all nuances of supplier quotes, work with suppliers on their processes, especially as it relates to aluminum casting, machining, and assembly. Work with controlled CAD data, specifications, spreadsheets, presentations. Drive continuous improvement. Learn and relentlessly pursue maximizing ERP (Global Shop Solutions) functions as they relate to program management, quotes and customer relationship management. Strive for Excellence, Deliver it, Own it! 3-5 years' experience as a Program/Account Manager for a manufacturing environment. Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and communicate information. Strong communication and negotiation skills - written and verbal. Comfort with all forms of communication: in person, virtual, phone calls, emails, texting, etc. Whatever it takes. Confidence escalating issues within a customer as well as internally. To enjoy being part of a team in a dynamic, fast paced environment. A strong sense of urgency. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Suite of products.
