OES has immediate openings for a Senior Design Engineer - Transportation in Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota or Northern Illinois. We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and a hybrid work environment (both in-office and remote). Compensation Range: $95k to $125k (Negotiable based on experience and location) Key Responsibilities: Manage the delivery and budgets for transportation and/or civil infrastructure projects. Assist in the development of proposals and estimates. Provide design expertise and mentoring of other staff members. Oversee and/or lead the development of roadway design and plans for urban and rural highways and interchanges. Oversee and/or lead the preparation of environmental documents, miscellaneous design reports, and final PSE packages. Lead meetings with clients and the general public. Work cooperatively with other engineers and project managers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Experience managing WisDOT projects. Licensed Wisconsin PE or ability to obtain license within one year. Interest in transportation related design and construction projects.
