Job Descriptions: SUMMARY Provides supervision and evaluation of Service and Support Administrators (SSAs) as relates to Individual Service Plan (ISP) administration and duties within assigned supervisory units. An integral part of the job function is ensuring that services, supports, and oversight of such supports, occur with the focus on the individual receiving services. Person-centered planning is the foundation for all services, supports, monitoring, supervision and coordination for the individuals served. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervisory Duties: Provides supervision and evaluation of SSAs as relates to ISP administration and duties within assigned supervisory units (i.e., Funded Services, Specialized Services); Reviews, directs the revision of, and approves ISP's, and other documents as prepared by SSAs; Develops and implements quality assurance routines to assure ISPs meet the highest standards prescribed by applicable authoritative entities; this includes a monthly review and follow up to assure necessary corrections are completed; Assures federal rules and regulations, statutes, Medicaid requirements, administrative rules, and County Board policies, including ISP administration are consistently being followed; Provides and/or arranges for training and orientation, as well as serves as a coach/mentor for assigned SSAs; Assures SSAs review and respond to Quality Assurance Review Recommendations; Assures SSAs respond to requests for documents necessary for provider compliance/other reviews; Assures SSAs document and support individuals in the provider selection process; Prepares data and reports as directed by the SSA Director; Verifies through supervision and review SSA dashboard, etc., monitoring of services/outcomes and follow up of UI/MUI; Reviews SSAs Targeted Case Management (TCM) progress weekly and follows TCM policy and procedures; Provides secondary "on-call" SSA availability and is available for consultation with primary "on-call" SSA; Each SSA Supervisor has responsibilities and project assignments relative their expertise and the unit of SSAs supervised, (i.e. Intake/Eligibility, Youth, Transition, Behavior Support, etc.); Serves as a member of the SSA Department Leadership Team. Provides excellent customer service. Waiver Administration: Coordinates and monitors all SSA activities relative to assuring that SCBDD ISPs, other documentation, processes, and timeframes meet all Medicaid Waiver requirements; Collaborates with Assistant Director(s) and Waiting List Review Committee to assure requests for HCBS waiver is consistent with SCBDDs waiting list policy; Assists SSAs to resolve differences between authorized services, provider billings, and utilization, as needed; this may include working with payment authorization specialists (PAS); Submits prior authorizations prior to the span or start of service, but no later than due date indicated by PAS. Administration: Performs duties of SSA Assistant Director as assigned, or as directed in his/her absence; Participates in preparation of budgets and departmental planning as assigned; Limited Management Contract. (At least four (4) years of experience with individuals, who have developmental disabilities). Valid Ohio driver's license, proof insurance and reliable transportation.
