Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team and help manage the flow of materials through our manufacturing process. This role will perform an array of functions that include verifying counts of stock, delivering them to production lines, receiving parts in appropriate locations, and replenishing inventory as needed. You will have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and ensure the production process runs efficiently.Monitor inventory levels to ensure that raw materials, components, and finished products are available to meet production schedules.Pick and issue parts per job order requirements using RF scanner, accurate labeling and delivering parts to the appropriate production lines.Prepare pallet for production lines andor putting away in slotted inventory locations and packing products coming in from production andor receiving.Conduct regular inventory audits for accuracy of quantity and ensure the accuracy of records in the inventory management system.Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, stock locations and help sustain inventory control.May also be trained in receiving to help unload trucks, containers, stacking and counting product on pallets.Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to coordinate stock movements, consolidation, and replenishing inventory to avoid material shortages.Ensures company policies and safety regulations by maintaining a clean work environment.Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control processes and may assist in cycle counting of physical inventory.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of inventory management systems and software (ERP experience preferred).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong time management and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or electronics environment.1+ years of forklift and pallet jack experience required, certification preferred.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate excel experience preferred.Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally lift andor move objects that weigh 70 lbs., regularly required to crouch, kneel, reach, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, and use safe lifting techniques. Ability to climb and work while on a ladder.
