Schedule: Full-Time Days M-F 8AM-5PM Location: 2501 N Orange Ave # 538, Orlando, FL 32804 The community you'll be caring for: Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year The role you'll contribute: •Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes and treatment recommendations in the patients' medical records. •Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, as outlined in the patient's medical record and signed by the supervising physician. •Practices within the scope of each practice as delineated by education and training including, but not limited to prescriptive privileges and in accordance with supervising physician guidelines. •Refers patients for laboratory, x-ray and specialty care for needed services that cannot be provided at the practice. •Assures that adequate patient health records are maintained and confidentiality is maintained under HIPAA regulations. •Participates with supervising physician in a periodic review of the patients' health records
