Reliability Engineer | Allied Resources Technical Consultants About the Position: Allied Resources is looking for a Reliability Engineer for a Leading Chemical Company based in the Greater Philadelphia area. This position provides an excellent compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, discount programs, and more!Job Responsibilities:Perform root cause analysis on failed equipment to identify and eliminate underlying issues.Acquire skills in developing and implementing Reliability Control Plans for various equipment types, aimed at enhancing safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency over the long term.Provide guidance on executing and documenting repair and preventive maintenance (PM) activities for fixed equipment. Support the development of job plans and shop papers as needed for these tasks.Engage with preferred equipment manufacturers, technical specialists, and support consultants.Build expertise in drafting maintenance job plans for specific repair tasks.Learn how to update and maintain critical maintenance documentation, including repair reports, bills of materials, and upgrade recommendations, for essential plant equipment.Prepare formal technical reports to document repair processes, failure analysis, equipment and process improvements, and inspection findings.Collect, analyze, and manage plant reliability metrics.Contribute to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives at the site.Assist with troubleshooting equipment performance as required.Support equipment installations and upgrades by ensuring maintainability and reliability considerations are integrated into the project design.Create and maintain job plans for repair activities.Regularly update maintenance documentation, including repair reports, bills of materials, and upgrade recommendations, for key plant equipment.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.5-10+ years of experience in chemicalpetrochemical plant maintenance andor reliability engineering (salary based on experience).Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).Leadership experience (temporary or interim assignments acceptable).Proficiency with drafting and design software.EEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
