Technical Requirements: 5 Big ThingsAluminum Welding ExperienceMIG Welding ExperienceTIG Welding ExperiencePrefers to Work in a Team SettingExperience doing own quality checksFormal Education in welding would be big plus. These candidates will need to have their own Weld Helmet and bring that to interview but otherwise most everything else if provided. It is recommended they bring their own tools as most welders will have this.Pay will be determined primarily on how well they perform on the weld test during the interview. Minimum Requirements: 1+ years of TIG and MIG welding experience or equivalent trainingMIG and TIG Certification AWS D1.2 (or able to achieve within 60 days of employment)Successful completion of CIT weld testExperience using a variety of welding equipment and proceduresExperience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, PPE, etc.)Deftness and attention to detailKey Responsibilities:Perform aluminum welding using MIG, TIG, and other welding methods according to specifications and technical drawings.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to understand project requirements.Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety spect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.Collaborate with team members to assemble and fabricate aluminum structures and components.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and techniques.
