Your time will be spent supporting our consumer and HD (heavy-duty) truck product lines. You'll participate in product development processes from design to manufacturing and beyond. You'll immediately gain hands on experience testing new and existing products in our engineering lab located onsite helping us continue building a brand we are proud of.Benefits:Paid time-off plus a paid volunteer day with a partnered non-profit organization401(k) with company match and profit-sharing eligibilityGenerous benefits package that includes highly subsidized medical coverageHealthcare concierge servicesCompany paid life insuranceDental and vision coverageEmployee assistance program (EAP)Team member discounts on Maxxima productsDiscounts to concerts, movies, and theaterCompany sponsored eventsResponsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage project elementsDesign, develop, code, test, and debug software such as microcontrollers, Labview, etc.Analyze and test product samples to ensure that products meet the company's quality and safety standardsPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing informationEvaluate photometric specifications, technical drawings, and electrical requirements of a given projectExecute quick turn prototyping, PCB bring-up, debugging, verification testingEnhance company product testing standards by designing and automating internal testing proceduresReview and design product instruction sheets and dimensional drawings using AdobePerform general engineering tasks as assignedRequirements:B.S. in electrical, mechanical, computer engineering or the equivalent2+ years of hands-on engineering experience within a company (design verification preferred)Able to document test results and report issues clearly and concisely of both pre-production and production ordersExcellent troubleshooting and technical assessment skillsKnowledge of electrical engineering principles (analogdigital circuitry)Micro-controller and peripheral circuit design experience (PCB, Schematic, etc.)Familiar with tools such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supply, digital multimeter, and waveform generatorEffective verbal, technical and written communication skillsProvide technical support to sales team and directly to customers via email and phone callsOutstanding project management skillsStrong ability to multi-task and time-manageProven problem solver with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenExperience with C, C++, Python, or JavaFamiliarity with electronic schematics, testing equipment and mechanical drawings is a plusExperience with robotics a plusExperience SQL a plusThe annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000.Maxxima is a division of Panor Corp.
