We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a contract opportunity in Nashville!The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This role ensures the smooth operation of hardware and equipment by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading systems as needed.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops and other hardware.Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.Provide end-user training and support on hardware and software.Aid in the rollout of new PCs and provide imaging and deployment support.Provide printer troubleshooting and maintenance.Trace and manage cables for hardware setup.Qualifications:Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.Experience with Windows 10-11, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune is preferred.Experience with computer imaging.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Strong communication skills for end-user interaction and training.
