Lucid Capital Markets a full-service investment bank is seeking an institutional fixed income salesperson to its growing team. The position will partner with Lucid's FIG group to execute a deep existing pipeline of both public and private fixed income transactions.QualificationsMUST have existing relationships with buy side accounts focusing on investment grade fixed income marketWork closely with Investment Banking and Capital Markets to execute new issue fixed income transactionsTrack record of successfully placing new issue corporate debt including 144A, 4(a)(2), and public offeringsExperience working with corporate finance bankers on new issue transactionsSolid understanding of broader debt capital marketsMust have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees and clientsRelevant FINRA licenses required, or will need to be secured within 120 days of employmentRecent Grads and entry level candidates will not be consideredResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and maintaining profitable distribution of fixed income productOpen sales relationships to facilitate the growth of debt capital markets businessAssist in implementing necessary systems to support a corporate fixed income sales and trading businessCollaborate with trading to establish trading accounts and street relationshipsDevelop and maintain customer relationships through prospecting and account maintenance activitiesMaintain currency on new products and industry trendsDevelop understanding of back-office operations that support sales effort, and establish working relationship with back-office personnelKnowledge and understanding of TRACE reporting requirements to ensure the firm remains compliant with related FINRA rules.Provide market feedback to fixed income traders and investment banking departmentBenefitsCompensation for this position is largely incentive-based, with industry leading payoutsIncentives are combined with either a base salary or a draw, resulting in total cash compensationCompany sponsored health plan 401K
