Roles and ResponsibilitiesDrive the R&D application development related to new multi-beam inspection systems, single-beam inspection systems, and new feature application development through feasibility experiment design, design of application related items, hands-on execution, data collection & analysis, and reports compiling.Drive the development of inspection-related software product related to new e-beam system. Collaborate effectively with other groups in D&E and system engineers to design and perform feasibility studies to validate inspection performance.Execute first shipment testing of new hardware and software products to meet the customer timeline.Provide onsite application support at customer site, including evaluation of new MBI SBI system and inspection-related software product, use case demo, tool to tool matching and issue escalation & troubleshooting.Document and transfer new applications to worldwide customer support team.Provide application training for customers and local field application engineers.Engage with customer on novel application products for new business opportunities.Other duties as assigned.Job description subject to change at any time.Education and Experience minimum of MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics or related studies and minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry.Experience with data analysis and scripting (preferably with Python)Ph.D. degree and experience with eBeam and or in defect inspection a plus.Strong understanding of the semiconductor process a plusSkills Can learn and apply new information or skills.Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements.Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.Demonstrate open, clear, concise, and professional communication.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customers.Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.Fluent English communicator, both verbally and written.Other Information This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA .
