Field Management Intern - FIELD DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: General Description: High Construction is the commercial builder of choice throughout the mid-Atlantic region, providing design-build, general contracting, and construction management services. Headquartered in Lancaster, PA, High Construction Company is searching for field management interns who will support our project teams. The goal of this position is to provide experience to current students in the general contracting field. Future employment could be either as a carpenter or an assistant superintendent. Qualifications and Job Duties: * Pursuing an Associates/Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Carpentry, or related field * 1+ years of construction related experience is preferred * Competency in Microsoft software * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated competency in handling job details, organization, and ability to work independently * Proper and safe use of hand tools to perform required duties * Ability to adhere to written and verbal instructions for proper installation of materials. * Understanding of safety procedures and applying procedures in work and environment. * Ability to perform work with minimal or no supervision. * Assist field management team with inspections, daily logs, and three-week lookahead schedules.
