In this role, you will support our marketing efforts by assisting with campaigns, event coordination, social media management, and general administrative tasks. This role has a mandatory onsite requirement: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 am - 6:15 pm (Mountain View, CA) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing & Creative: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based initiatives. Support Sr. Marketing & Events Manager in the creation of print and digital materials such as signage, collateral, event landing pages, and social media content. Contribute to the development and execution of monthly and ad hoc email marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the design team to create compelling visuals for marketing campaigns. Provide input on marketing strategies and creative concepts. Events & Site Activation: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing activations, installations, and community events. Support and oversee on-site event execution including venue coordination, A/V, catering, furniture, facilities, and security. Ensure promotional materials are prepared and distributed appropriately for events. Assist in preparing post-event reports, analyzing event performance, and identifying areas for improvement. Capture daily content for digital marketing use. Support with daily operations of our Pop-Up Shop program as needed. Administrative Support: Maintain filing systems for marketing materials and documentation. Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and invoice management. Prepare reports, presentations, and other written materials as needed. Support the team with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting notes. Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations for team members. Ensure all initiatives reflect Jamestown's values of inclusivity, sustainability, and community involvement. Creative Contributions: Collaborate with the design team to create compelling visuals for marketing campaigns. Provide input on marketing strategies and creative concepts. Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job 2 - 4 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role. Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and; familiarity with project management software and event management tools is a plus. Experience with social media platforms and tools. Basic graphic design skills; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks. Acute attention to detail and quality assurance. The right candidate has a polish for excellence in all manners. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift 25 lbs SCHEDULE: Mandatory onsite requirement: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 am - 6:15 pm (Mountain View, CA) Occasional evening or other weekend work may be required for special events or urgent deadlines.
