Position Summary This job will be third shift, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:30pm to 7am. This is considered full time and full benefits included. Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is a 285-bed acute care facility serving southwest Orange County for more than 35 years. The hospital offers advanced technology and expertise in numerous areas of specialty, including diagnostic imaging, cardiovascular and stroke care, comprehensive surgical services, and rehabilitation, with minimally invasive options for many procedures utilizing the DaVinci® Robotic Surgical System and Mako SmartRoboticsâ„¢ robotic arm-assisted surgery for knee and hip joint replacement. A comprehensive Emergency Department treats both adults and children, including a "fast track" for minor emergencies, and is a designated Primary Stroke Center. The hospital also provides services at the Orlando Health Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion - Osceola in Kissimmee and Orlando Health Emergency Room - Randal Park in Lake Nona Responsibilities Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to radiation safety principles. • Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care. • Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures. • Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality. • Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives. • Assesses the patient's physical condition and age specific needs. • Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Licensure/Certification Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida and Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in (CT) Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
