We provide PICC and Midline insertions, Peripheral Venous Access as well as Continuing Education, Precepting and Consulting for Hospitals, Long-Term Care and other Healthcare Facilities. VIC the PICC offers the following services 24/7/365: PICC/Midline Placement with Ultrasound ECG Guidance Technology for PICC Confirmation Peripheral IV Insertions Declotting Line Removal Port Access 24/7/365 Triage Nursing Services Job Description As an IV Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. If you are looking for a change and tired of 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality care, this would be the perfect opportunity for you. Our nurses have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong one-on-one relationships with your patients and their families. Responsibilities: Place PIV lines and assist with management of vascular access devices Provide a wide range of infusion therapies for patients Troubleshoot IV pumps Educate nursing staff regarding PICC lines and IV access devices Visit patients in different facilities; must be willing and able to travel up to 40 miles each way for patient visits On-call requirements: Minimum of 10 cases per month Qualifications Registered Nurse with current license Minimum 3 years nursing experience Must currently be placing PIV lines (multiple times a day) Current CPR certification Possess a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance Must have smartphone Additional Information VIC the PICC Offers: Professional, fun, and positive work culture 24 hour on-call support Electronic charting Paid Mileage Flexibility: Employees have the flexibility to make their own schedules; when you are on call for VTP you will receive cases based on your availability and region Competitive Pay: $45-55/ Hour Have questions about one of our positions?
