Job OverviewDresdner Robin is seeking an experienced civil engineer project manager to work in our Jersey City or Fairfield N.J. office. This is a leadership role with the capacity to perform in the following areas:Site assessments and data gathering through the review of ordinances, utility information, permitting, site constraints, etc. toward a project's feasibilityPreparation of conceptual plans and reportingDesign of stormwater management systems, grading and drainage designDesign of utility infrastructureDesign of soil erosion controls and measuresPreparation of construction cost estimates, permitting assessments and schedulesMeeting, coordinating and corresponding with the client, various regulatory review agencies and other consultants on the design teamPreparation of permit applications for submission to the various regulatory agenciesPreparation of proposals and project scopingManagingdeveloping staff, project schedule and budgetOther associated activitiesJob RequirementsB.S. in Civil Engineering7+ years civil engineering experience local to NJ & NYC MetroNYC and NY State experience a plusNew Jersey P.E. requiredNew York P.E. preferredExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroflowHydroCADStorm CAD, MS Word, MS ExcelFluent in Windows-based computer systemsStrong project management potentialAbility to work collaboratively with staff members and supervisorsAbility to delegate, lead and manage staffAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsThe successful candidate shall be highly-motivated, positive, organized, maintain a professional demeanor and able to work efficiently with others and independently. The candidate shall demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Travel will be required to sites and other office locations on occasion. Candidate needs unrestricted access to her his own vehicle.
