Electrical Engineer - Resort Engineering & DesignLocation: Anaheim, CAAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about design, innovation, and hands-on implementation? Join our dynamic team and be part of the magic behind the scenes at one of the world's most exciting destinations!As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be pivotal in managing low to medium-voltage electrical systems that power our many assets throughout the resort. From initial concept to ongoing support, you'll serve as the Owner's Technical Representative, collaborating with a wide range of teams to ensure seamless execution of engineering projects. This is your opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, creative environment where no two days are alike.What You'll Do:Project Management: Lead electrical system design and development from concept through sustainment, ensuring each project meets scope, schedule, and budget requirements.Collaboration: Work closely with in-house and external teams, acting as the Owner's Technical Representative throughout the project lifecycle.Technical Expertise: Provide discipline-specific input on designs, review engineering drawings and calculations, and ensure projects comply with local and state codes.Field Support: Conduct site visits to troubleshoot issues, monitor installations, and ensure timely completion of projects.Documentation & Compliance: Develop construction documents, proposals, and workload estimates, and ensure all projects adhere to Resort standards and specifications.What We're Looking For:Basic Qualifications:7+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, design, and implementation.Deep understanding of the California Electrical Code, IEEE standards (Brown, Buff, and Red books), and California Energy Codes (Title 24).Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent professional experience in electrical design and sustainment.Preferred Qualifications:Active Professional Engineers License (PE).Experience in lighting design and implementation (certification preferred).Previous experience in theme park engineering is a plus!Why Join Us?Innovation & Creativity: Play a key role in bringing cutting-edge electrical solutions to life in one of the world's most beloved destinations.Collaboration: Work alongside a talented and passionate team dedicated to excellence.Impact: Directly contribute to improving and maintaining a world-class resort.Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement in a dynamic and exciting environment.This position reports directly to the Manager of Mechanical, Electrical, and PlumbingPiping (MEP) Engineering within the DLR Architecture & Facilities Engineering team.Does this sound like the next step in your engineering career?
