Job Title: Structural Forensic EngineerOpen Job position - 2 candidates needed from any below locationLocation: Fayetteville or Little Rock area, ArkansasTulsa or Oklahoma City area, OklahomaJoplin or Springfield areas, MissouriMemphis area, TennesseeClient Name - Will be disclosed during the Second ScreeningDuration: Full Time - PermanentShift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a weekAbout the Role:StructuralCivil Engineer with a P.E. license and construction background to conduct forensic investigations of commercial, institutional, high-rise, and residential buildings. This is a hybrid position that can work remotely, from the office or a combination of both.Typical engineering assignments include determining the cause of structural failures, construction defects, watermoisture intrusion, roof damages, structural collapses, foundationsettlement, and more.Additional projects include storm damage assessments, post-fire damage and structural integrity evaluations, and providing professional opinions and expert witness testimony.ResponsibilitiesDetermine the cause and origin of structural failures and construction defects.Conduct field inspections to document onsite conditions.Conduct roof damage evaluations for residential and commercial structures.Conduct moisturewater intrusion damage evaluations.Prepare and provide oral and written reports, in a timely.May be called upon for expert witness testimony.5050 field work and office duties.Qualifications (MUST HAVE)BSCE from an accredited school required10+ years of professional experience having 5+ years of forensics, requiredP.E. license in state applying to (ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT), requiredHaving additional P.E. licenses in additional states is, preferredNCEES, PreferredExcellent oral and written communication skills are required.Strong understanding of building materials, residential and commercial construction, and building codesAbility to travel 30% of the time having occasional overnight stays, required
