Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our international privacy and technology compliance and legal services, VeraSafe is seeking an exceptional Sales Director to lead our sales function. You'll work directly with experienced U.S. and international attorneys to pitch and close deals with prospective clients. This is a fully remote position. Check out our other great benefits, listed at the end of this job description.About the RoleThis is a full-time role with a schedule centered around the U.S. East Coast time zone (GMT -5). While this is a remote position, the small size of our sales support staff makes this role such that your consistent availability throughout each workday is very much required.The Sales Director will be instrumental in driving VeraSafe's sales strategies and efforts across all markets. Given the nature of our services, we are particularly interested in candidates with substantial legal experience. Ideally, you have a background in legal sales or have worked as an attorney. This role demands a visionary leader with proven expertise in fostering high-performing teams and executing growth-focused strategies in B2B cybersecurity or legal sectors. As part of this small team, you'll be a critical player in building new client relationships at our firm.Note: We may ask you to participate in a short skills assessment as a first step in the selectioninterview process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with VeraSafe's mission and market goalsBe a friendly, warm, and highly professional first point of contact for many of our firm's future clientsHost a large number of sales calls, along with support from other VeraSafe team membersPrepare complex proposals requiring both substantive knowledge of our services and exceptional attention to detail in all respectsEnsure good data governance in our CRMBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met with VeraSafe's solutions. Act as a senior representative in negotiationsInnovate sales processes and methodologies to enhance performance and market penetration. This will require careful consideration of cross-functional impacts and process dependenciesLead, inspire, traindevelop and mentor a small team of sales professionals. Establish clear performance metrics and foster an environment of accountability and excellenceMonitor and report on sales targets and performance metrics, implementing improvements and strategic changes where necessaryRepresent VeraSafe at industry eventsCollaborate with senior leadership to identify new market opportunities, product offerings, and revenue streams to drive business growth and innovationOwn our sales process and pursue excellence by optimizing sales processes, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and leverage technology to automate routine tasks and enable sales team productivity. Ensure alignment between sales operations and other functional areas, such as marketing, customer service, and product development, to maximize synergy and drive holistic business outcomes.Areas of Functional AccountabilityYou'll manage a small team.
