TRC Talent is seeking a Senior Power Engineering located in Alpharetta, Georgia. Hybrid work schedule (T/W/Th in office) and relocation can be available for the right candidate. Ideal candidate has design and PLC knowledge as well as power engineering knowledge. What you will do: Interpret customer specifications and drawings, and apply them while considering industry regulations and NEC, UL 508, UL Create bill of materials in switchgear control ERP system Provide direction to purchasing and procurement Provide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings Support production during equipment manufacturing Write and validate PLC code for generator control systems, interfacing with various communication protocols What You Will Have: Analytical Thinking: Level Expert: Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance. Product Design and Development: Level Extensive Knowledge: Experience working with low-voltage or medium-voltage switchgear. PLC component selection. Communicates with professionals to understand various requirements of product design. Tests and evaluates alternative means of production being considered for use. Uses automated tools to design or modify the design of a product. Assists in building a complex prototype of product Top Candidates Will Also Have: PLC experience with Schneider and/or Allen Bradley Experienced with UL508A control enclosure design, 891,UL 1558, UL MV, CSA 22-2, and ANSI requirements Power Engineering and Multi-Function Relay Programming/Operation
