Job Description: The Senior Manager, FP&A is a high visibility position that will play a key role in DealerOn's success by using strategic thinking and data analysis to support decision-making across the company. The role involves regular interactions with executives and senior leadership, as well as with our majority owner financial sponsor, Nex Phase Capital. Success in this role requires translating technical knowledge into financial analysis for our cloud-based products and managed services. You will work with senior leaders on financial planning, executive presentations, and budgeting. You will be responsible for analyzing past performance and creating forecasts. With strong business and financial acumen, you will provide insights and data needed for informed decisions, supporting the company's growth during a period of transition. This role is based at our headquarters (Rockville, MD), with two in-office days per week. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate annual budget and rolling forecasts in Microsoft Excel, employing a bottoms-up approach and covering all departments and areas (Revenue, Headcount costs, and Vendor costs) Prepare compelling decks/presentations in PowerPoint that effectively communicate the story behind the numbers (Flash / Monthly reporting, Board/Leadership meetings) Develop and communicate headwinds/tailwinds to EBITDA and Scorecard achievement - collaborate cross-functionally and work with business leaders to identify and gather relevant information Develop ad hoc analysis for growth and profitability and around various potential business initiatives - work with business leaders to identify actionable solutions. Support a culture of data-driven decisions and measuring of meaningful results Partner with rest of the finance team in preparation of dashboards and reports highlighting financial and non-financial KPIs / Metrics Create efficiencies in and improve existing reporting and leverage systems and technology to develop automated reporting Skills / Competence: Command of core FP&A concepts, including: budgeting/forecasting, financial modeling, cost control principles, working capital and cash management Firm grasp of Accounting concepts, including: Accruals, Prepaids, EBITDA, Profit margins, Cost centers, Financial statements preparation, Segment results etc. Solid understanding of revenue and cost KPIs in recurring revenue cloud and managed services organization Solid understanding of profitability and performance - continually measure and evaluate profitability as relates to services, customers, and headcount Demonstrated understanding of project management needs within matrix organizations Required qualifications/experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA, a plus 8 or more years of Finance/Accounting experience at a mid-sized company 3 or more years of FP&A experience in Corporate and/or GTM reporting Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Broad experience with NetSuite ERP and planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with senior levels of management Proven ability to anticipate needs and provide viable solutions with minimal direction Ability to juggle and prioritize simultaneous assignments Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and multi-task in a highly dynamic environment Must pass required background check Preferred qualifications/experience: 2+ years at mid sized ($150M+) SaaS/managed services, Software, or Technology company 2+ years at a PE-backed company, PE firm, Investment Bank, or Management consulting firm Experience with: Salesforce, PowerBI, and/or other business intelligence solutions Relevant experience in automotive software and services #LI-Remote The salary range for this position is $95,700 - $193,300. The maximum range shown represents your earning potential with DealerOn for the life time of the role.
