Branch Manager- Calabasas Location US-CA-Calabasas ID Category Sales Position Type Full-Time Remote No Overview The Branch Manager directs and manages all sales, member experience, service and operations activities of the assigned branch to achieve a profitable distribution of the Credit Union's products and services. Strengthens member relations through the efficient delivery of high-quality, personalized sales and a memorable service experience. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Responsibilities * Responsible for day-to-day management of the branch, including operations, member services, human resources, administration, and sales. Manages the branch sales team to ensure the achievement of sales goals, including, but not limited to, desired levels of product sales, volume, mix segment growth, and market share. * Assures the day-to-day elements of the Credit Union's Member Experience are in place and executed by all staff members. * Supports the achievement of the retail branch office sales goals through the personal selling of all offered financial products. * Develops and participates in various business development and community activities. * Establishes centers of influence and referral networks * Ensures delivery of high-quality member service in all aspects of sales and operational activities of the assigned branch. Responds appropriately to member inquiries and complaints. Conducts follow-up to ensure a satisfactory response and/or resolution. * Provides overall direction to and sets the standard for excellence for assigned branch management and staff. * Develops an effective branch management team to ensure a well-trained and productive sales and service staff that provides a superior member service experience. * Works with the Credit Union's business partners to ensure a well-trained sales staff in all products and services offered through the Credit Union * Ensures that the hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation of all assigned staff members results in an effectively utilized motivated staff, committed to continuous improvement, an outstanding "member experience", and teamwork. * Manages all aspects of sales and operational activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, and satisfactory audits. * Reviews branch audit results, implement corrective actions, and responds in written form to senior management and Internal Audit. * Prepares and manages the budget for the assigned branch. * Ensures the physical and mental safety, security, and comfort of members and staff. Qualifications Education Min/Preferred: Preferred Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Description: Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Preferred Years of Experience: Comments: Minimum of 3 years of retail banking sales management experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Ability Thorough knowledge of lending, financial products, and services. Combination of experience and education may be considered. Must be an actively registered Mortgage Loan Originator with the NMLS Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Demonstrates understanding of the fundamentals of sales management, coaching, and leadership Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience using the Symitar Data system, Meridian Link, and Encompass is considered a plus. Results driven with a customer service focus; possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
