General Information Country United States City New York Department Human Resources Posted 23-Jan-2024 Working Time Permanent - Full-time Description and Requirements The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Utilizes a variety of resources both external and internal sources to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions. Confers with hiring managers to determine the required skills and experience for the position as well as coordinate interview appointments, feedback discussions, and candidate selections. Facilitates the execution of the organization's recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management. Serves as company liaison to candidates, presenting a positive company image. Ensures candidate is engaged throughout the hiring process, fostering a positive, professional interview experience for candidates. Utilizes traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract qualified candidates. Develops and maintains a network of contacts for immediate and future needs. Maintains all supporting records and data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Helps guide and mentor junior Talent Acquisition staff. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 6+ years of technical recruiting experience. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Avature preferred. Experience with Job Boards required (Monster, Clearance Jobs, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. DoD recruiting experience highly preferred. Occasional travel may be required.
