Keiter Values: Innovation - Collaboration - Accountability - Relationships We Have: A large variety of client industries, allowing for diverse day-to-day projects Opportunities for building close relationships with your clients An open mind for new ideas and methodologies Programs for continuing professional education and career development Numerous niche service and industry teams to join that match your unique skills and interests A supportive and collaborative team environment Flexible work environment to support your unique professional and personal needs Community involvement opportunities You have: The ability to direct and coordinate the various phases of an engagement including staff requirements, locations to be visited, job planning, and scheduling with the Partner The capacity to plan the logistics of an engagement, including the work to be performed by other departments The ability to study and evaluate the internal controls used by the client and prepare or review the work program and time budget (for subsequent approval by a Partner) The expertise to evaluate working papers and determine that an engagement was performed in accordance with accepted auditing standards (or accounting principles) The knack for evaluating audit risks and communicating potential risks to a Partner The capacity to review, document, and evaluate internal controls Knowledge of tracking budget realization and overall time budgets Willingness to oversee audit, review, and/or compilation work programs and answer staff questions Knowledge of preparing or reviewing financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters for later discussion with the Partner and client The willingness to serve as the main point of contact for multiple clients A passion for actively participating in the development of staff by training and offering constructive feedback through working paper reviews; direct performance review feedback and working with the Partner group to determine staffing development areas You Also Have: Minimum of five years' experience in public accounting (or equivalent) CPA license in good standing Active Virginia Driver's License
