Service Manager Quality Sewing & Vacuum is looking to hire a Service Center Manager . Can you provide above-and-beyond customer service? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR SERVICE MANAGER As the Service Manager, you will manage a team of 15-25 sewing and vacuum technicians. Your day-to-day tasks will include... Demonstrating a positive attitude and a willingness to adhere to QSV's culture, including Finding a Way to Say "Yes." Reviewing job orders to determine work priorities. Scheduling repair, maintenance, and adjustments of machines, tools, and equipment. Reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. Inspecting operating machines and equipment for conformance with repair standards. Planning, developing, and implementing new methods and procedures to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effectively utilize labor and materials. Procure tools, equipment, and supplies required for repairs. Direct training to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures. Assist employees in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Interpret specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties. Establishes and/or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the department's or employees' efficiency. Initiate orders for replacement machines or parts covered by warranty. Supervise reimbursement of all factory warranty parts and labor. Supervise inventory of critical parts and supplies. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVICE MANAGER 3+ years of proven technical team management experience 2+ years of customer service experience Can you contribute to a positive team environment?
