VP of Finance

The VP of Finance is a key part of the executive team in shaping the financial strategy of the company's lenders, investors, and stakeholders. Vice President of Finance Responsibilities: Lead and develop a sustainable capital funding strategy to support the organization's growth plans. Oversee the closing process for business transactions, including coordination with development and finance teams, investors, and lenders. Manage the RFP process for debt and equity in real estate transactions. Build and maintain strong relationships with equity partners, lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with senior leadership to represent finance in strategic planning and execution of critical activities. Conduct due diligence and review financial proposals to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Prepare and deliver pitch decks and presentations to highlight investment opportunities. Support finance staff in the development of financial models and budgeting for development fees. Monitor and report on investment performance and return on investment to stakeholders. Vice President of Finance Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of relevant comparable experience. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret complex legal and financial documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with real-estate industry-specific is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required; advanced degrees (JD, MBA) or CPA designation are preferred. Ability to travel 20 % Base salary commensurate with experience in the $155,000-$175,000 range plus a bonus and a full benefits package.
