Overview The Manager of Outbound Logistics will lead our final mile processing and delivery operations, ensuring efficient and timely merchandise flow. This role involves driving and analyzing processing plans and managing backlogs to maintain smooth operations. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the outbound team to assess the impact of transit times on market flow and working closely with pool point leaders through on-site visits and data analysis to enhance operational performance. In partnership with Store Operations, this manager will guide our Operations Analysts to ensure on-time deliveries while accommodating any ad hoc scheduling requests from our store partners. Acting as the liaison between stores and service providers, this leader will uphold high standards of integrity and collaboration, ensuring exceptional customer service. Additional duties involve supporting Operations Analysts during new store openings and overseeing delivery schedules for store inventories. The Manager will work with the Manager of Strategy and Growth to implement long-term growth strategies, which may include onboarding new providers, piloting operational models, and driving cost reduction initiatives. Finally, this role will focus on identifying and executing strategies to improve performance metrics and reduce shortage risks. * This individual will be remote but will travel to local pool points 1 week a month. A Day In The Life: Be on site at pool points within your coverage area to drive operational improvements Leverages reporting to make informed decisions on production strategy Review and manage delivery schedules Develop new and analyze current reporting to identify areas of opportunity and drive KPI improvements Implement and oversee operational changes Collaborate with peers and direct reports on growth and improvement strategy Support Senior Manager and Director with special projects You'll Come With: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Supply Chain/Business-related field. Requires 3-5 + years' experience in Logistics/Transportation or related field Experience establishing key performance indicator metrics to benchmark/track performance Working knowledge of PCS/Descartes Ability to work independently with limited supervision Detail oriented with a strong desire to identify trends Requires familiarity with transportation procedures and processes Require high level of proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyze data and produce reporting for all levels of the business Self-confidence managing business issues in conflict and facilitating key stakeholders to achieve best resolution for overall business Come join our team.
