Position Type: Administration/Principal Date Posted: 2/5/2024 Location: Various Schools Positions: Elementary School Principal Effective Date: TBD Qualifications and Certification: 1.Applicant must hold an SRL5 Georgia Leadership Certificate; SRL6 certification or higher preferred. 2.Applicant must have a minimum of two years of experience as a building level administrator. 3.Applicant must have a minimum of three years teaching experience. 4.Applicant must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills. 5.Applicant must have a proven record of being an instructional leader within the school setting. 6.Applicant must have a proven record of working cooperatively with students, parents and educators to increase academic performance for all students. 7.Applicant must be a person of high integrity who demonstrates moral character and initiative. 8.Applicant should have proven ability to work with and lead diverse groups of learners. 9.Applicant should have proven knowledge of CCRPI and the TKES/LKES evaluation instrument. 10.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Wayne County Board of Education and Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. 11.Applicant must have the proven ability to work with all stakeholders including parents and community members.
