Position Overview Our client, a fast-growing company in the Nashville Metro Area , is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling while providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The Director of FP&A will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategies and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position requires the candidate to work on-site 3 days a week . Key Responsibilities Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function , including overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and business performance analysis. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape financial and operational strategies. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights to improve profitability and drive growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and business goals . Manage the capital allocation process , conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments. Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews , presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Support M&A activities , including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning. Continuously improve FP&A processes and reporting systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally in a high-growth environment. Expertise in financial modeling , forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Strong track record of providing strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making. Experience with M&A activities , including financial due diligence and integration. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel . Excellent leadership and communication skills , with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranging from $165,000 to $185,000 per year, depending on experience.
