LHH is seeking a skilled Patent Prosecution Paralegal for a firm in Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison to assist with all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution across diverse clients and technologies. Experience with research institutions and tech transfers is a plus but not required. This is a hybrid position. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate filing of new patent applications. Analyze USPTO and foreign counsel correspondence. Track deadlines using matter management and docketing systems. Prepare client reports and prosecution documents. Communicate with USPTO, attorneys, paralegals, liaisons, foreign associates, and clients regarding prosecution matters. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in intellectual property, with a focus on patent prosecution. At least 2+ years of law firm experience. Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certification preferred. Strong attention to detail and expertise in managing extensive patent prosecution dockets. Exceptional client service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
